Notification Overview
The University of Kashmir has released an important admission notification for the candidates of the 4-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) under the NEP-2020 scheme, Batch 2022. This announcement includes details about the commencement of class work for the 5th semester and essential registration guidelines.

Eligibility and Registration Process
- Attendance Requirement: Candidates must meet the statutory attendance requirement in the preceding semester to be eligible for 5th semester registration.
- Previous Batches: Candidates from previous batches (2015-2021) who have completed 1st to 4th semesters or the second year (as per annual scheme) but haven’t sought admission for 5th semester/3rd year, are also eligible to register. These candidates must submit an online form available on the University website.
- Subject Opting and Registration: Students must complete the registration formalities, including choosing their subjects within the stipulated time.
Registration Procedure
- Online Form Submission: Use the unique forms available on the University’s online portal for submission. Assistance is available at the Information Cell of the respective College.
- Subject Assignment and Confirmation: The College will assign subjects online as specified by the student in the enrolment or admission form. Confirmation of the assigned subjects and submission of the requisite fee must be checked on the “MyFormStatus” page on the University website.
- Fee Submission: After confirming subjects, students should proceed with the fee payment from 19.08.2024 up until the last date of registration. Special provisions for fee payment through Receipt Mode for orphans and specially-abled candidates can be done at any Finacle Branch of J&K Bank.
- No Subject Changes Post Fee Submission: Once the fee is submitted, no changes to the subjects will be allowed.
Additional Details
- Deficiency Courses: Any CBCS student joining the 5th semester under FYUGP of NEP 2020 must qualify for certain deficiency courses based on their course type and major subjects of the 4th semester.
- Submission of Enrolment Sheet / Admission Form: Candidates must submit the necessary documents to their respective colleges, which will then forward the registration returns along with fee reports to the office of the Assistant Registrar within ten days after closure of admission.
